DIGC202 wk 5. Advertising Jobs: Are you motivated enough?
It seems there are a raft of advertising jobs going for the young go-getters out there. A quick search of most online jobs sites such as Mycareer, Gumtree and jobs.com.au yields a huge amount of employment opportunities in the advertising sector which describes itself as being a dynamic industry full of opportunity. There are oppurtunities for those with little or no experience which seem to be comission based promising employees around $500-$1000 a week with jobs for graduates with relevant experince starting at $35 000-$40 000. This industry can be seen as one which produces immaterial goods and looking at the advertisements online it seems employers are looking for people especially with experience in web-based forms of communication and computer design.
